Hi Guys.

I have several domain names up for sale. My questions will be :

a) Will it be better for me to list in various DN forums and DN Classified Sites ?

or

b) Finding and Using Domain Brokers to sell my Domain Names ?

In my opinion, using the domain brokers will expose my DN to various parties that may be interested in. As in the event of me using the traditional ways of listing in various Forums and Classified Sites, I still have to get a 3rd Party to do the Escrow. ( I used Escrow in the past, sold several DNs ).

I used SEDO in the part, but was not successful. Now, I may use Domain Name Brokers instead and prepare to offer good brokerage commission to the brokers. The higher price they can help me to sell, they will also get the higher commission. So, it is a win win situation.

Now, to you guys out here who are the experts and seasoned players, I do appreciate your opinions on this. All opinions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Vincent

You don't choose "Brokers".
"Brokers" choose you.

I am no expert but in my domaining adventures, I have learned from the pros that to get exposure, it is always better to list domains on different domain platforms.

I know it takes time and patience to see sales coming from marketplaces but more importantly, it is also considerable to realize about the quality of domains one own. Good domains sell, sooner or later. But if you have been holding domains for longer than two years and have received no offers/interest from the buyers, then I believe you should re-think your domain buying strategy.

Secondly, if you are holding domains that might have value in future (future tech domains), then it would be better to either:

1. Keep holding
2. Outreach to potential buyers yourself.

My answer for your broker question would be, most brokers don't sell other than ultra premium and one-word domains. So if you have any such domains, you can contact a broker. If you have an inventory like the majority of domainers, then listing them in marketplaces and outreaching to potential buyers is the only suggestion I can think of for now.

Good luck.

Thanks all for your opinion.

I do have some domain names available, but I just kept them for some time. There come a time when I do decide to let go of these domain names as I do not intend to develop them. Got them way back.
