Request from GoDaddy?

I received this request from GD

"The following domain name(s) have been requested for sale through the Afternic Premium Promotion network:

*********trader.com"

Is this something new GD is doing? It isn't a domain a even had listed on Afternic. Any input would be great.

I've never received one of these myself, but it doesn't mean that it isn't legit. Have you jumped on GoDaddy live chat and asked them? Are they listed in GoDaddy auctions at all? It's strange you would get such an email for a domain you don't even have listed on Afternic. Do you have an account there? If the domain is registered through GoDaddy and listed in GoDaddy auctions I guess this might be possible. Maybe they're trying to get you to signup with Afternic.

That is unusual. I have never heard of them doing that. Was your account maybe hacked and someone listed it for sale? I would call or chat with GoDaddy and see what is going on.
