General Requirements : I am looking for new logo/header ideas for my client's site www.LegalJob.com.

Additional Information : The current logo/header can be seen at LegalJob.com. My client wants to retain the look of the site, but wants the header/logo to be "punchier." In his own words:

For the logo/header, I am looking to grab the audience a bit more. I think the current design needs pizazz and needs to be modernized. I worry that people think the site is too serious so they don't stick around to really see what the site has to offer. I want something professional but want them to feel that getting the big firm job will not take away from their personality. The logo needs works to stimulate but the header may be fine. I am not afraid to laugh a bit at myself and the concept if it could draw people in (to stay).​

Please take a look through some of the content to get a sense of the site. Also, as noted, if you can come up with something that leaves in places the image part of the header, but does something cool with the "Legal Job - How To Seize The Brass Ring" logo part, that would work as well. Or if you have a great idea that involves changing the entire header....that works too. We're looking for some creative ideas!

Thanks for the entries. I have extended the close date to Sunday 11/06. As for feedback, here is what my client says:

He like the modern look of submission 1 (Matt), and the colors and graphics of 3 (freakx6). He does not like the handshake image on 3 though.

The specific comment on yours was: " I am looking for something professional but with pizazz that grabs the audience immediately and has a modern feel to it. The first one (referring to yours Matt) was closer to what I want but did not grab me the way I want."


I know those are not the most helpful comments.
