Logo Contest- Wedding hair dresser/designer.

Prize- US$50 to be paid VIA Paypal

Contest end date-Monday 27th April 2009 10:00pm AEST(Australian Eastern standard Time)

Size Requirements- This logo will be used on a website, letterheads, watermarked etc.

Colour Requirements: Whites, pinks, silvers, different shades in the logo.

General Requirements: Needs to be Classy, stylish and funky. Name of the business is 'Divine Hair Design' The LOGO is to have the words 'Divine Hair Design' in it only.

Additional requirements: I am a hairdressing professional who will be starting a business offerring my services to females and males to design hair styles for weddings mainly.

Feedback will be given every 3 days. Good Luck to all. Please don't hesitate to have a go at this.

Where is the text? Company Name, Website Name ? Or something ... how can we make a logo without a text? You want only a character, or a symbol?

Guys, Im running this contest for a friend and these are the comments she has made on the above logos so far. I have asked her to elaborate a bit more if she can, and if she does, I'll post them up.

OPINIONS ON CURRENT DESIGNS

1st design-ACCEDO POST # 4
like the wording(im assuming she means FONT) but not the pic/design on the top would like more of a simplier bit

2nd design- SQUIWARD POST #5

like both of these would like the pink a bit more stand out my fav so far

Here's a concept from me

Jim, can you lose the curly bits in the logo. and maybe replace them with a pair of scissors and a hair dryer or something like this.
Also can you maybe try a different font for the 'hair design' and with the 'divine' can you make it all the one colour the pink you have is nice, and then make the shadow of the 'divine' a bit darker. hope that makes sense.

Post#8 eye catching different maybe try something different in the font, different colours maybe, but like the idea of the bride and groom in the logo.

Post#10 like the design but the feather doesnt really go with the business.

Post#11 fantastic very catchy really like this 1 my favourite so far this is the type of thing im looking 4 shows the business type well

Sorry but my friend we're running the competition for hasn't seen #14 yet so no comments as yet. She is attempting to see the logos every couple of days and make comments, although we did say in the thread opening that comments would be made every 3 days so BONUS for every 2 days.

Sorry she made no comments on Post#9 therefore I would think its not her thing, I will let you know otherwise. Thanks

ok liked the bit about the scissors can we change the colour for 'divine' to pink keep the hair design the same font and colour

can we also try keepin the words the same but doin the scissors in a pink

Post #18 like the change the pink looks great with the black scissors can we try tilting the scissors a little more to the left so it doesnt look so much like an 'X' and do the finger holes a little smaller
