I am an unimaginative moron when it comes to design, my brain just doesn't work like that, so you have free rein to do as you please, as long as you keep the below guidelines in mind.

Format:
I'd say PSD, but I'm not sure if that would be correct for something like this. Perhaps an AI file? Like I said, I'm a moron when it comes to design, so I'm not entirely sure what professional designers would use. Just output in your standard source format and I'll work around it.

Size:
As long as it's a landscape rectangle that can be resized to be used on a business card, the size doesn't matter too much as I can do the proper resizing on my end.

Color:
Background: White
Suggested Logo Colors: Dark Blue, Red, Black

Again, these are just guidelines. I'm sure you have a much better eye than I do when it comes to color combinations, so feel free to surprise me.

General Requirements:
Logo Text: "A*S M*dia"

Additional Information:

"A*S" stands for "Automate Your Sh*t", and the company is primarily focused around helping people automate the day-to-day tasks of running an online business (software, services, consulting, etc.). I only say this so that maybe something related to 'automation' could be worked into the logo. Though it shouldn't be a primary focus of the logo, just an accent, as the company offers other services as well.

Although this is a corporate logo, the company is also fun and exciting, so I don't want the logo to be TOO corporate, if that makes sense.

This is only the second logo contest I've started, so please let me know if you have any further questions or need any clarification on anything.

I'm guessing those are supposed to be gears to play on the 'automation' angle? I think I might like it more if the gears were more defined (I see bottle caps/doilies on first glace), and 'Media' was a darker blue.

Love the entire right hand side of the logo, but the 'A*S' is a bit too big. I think if the 'A*S' were the same size as 'Media', and had the same colouring/shading as 'Media' (but with dark blue instead of black), this logo would probably give me a chub :P

I think the only thing I'd change would be making the colours a bit darker, especially the blue.

Love 'Media', it's slick and clean, but the 'A*S' isn't doing it for me. I think it's because the font and lettering are so drastically different from 'Media'. I think if 'A*S' were more like 'Media', this would be a pretty sweet logo.

I know the contest isn't supposed to close for another 6 hours or so, but the rules state that you can close it early if you find a winner, and we have in fact found a winner.

The winner is Neonic. Congrats!

We took a lot of things into consideration, and it wasn't easy because so many of you are amazing designers (I'm sure we'll be seeing each other again), but in the end this logo is exactly what we need... it just fits with so many of the ideas we had.

This is actually my least favorite part of these contests, because (as lame as it sounds), I wish I could pick everyone. You obviously know what you're doing and produce great work, but in the end, unfortunately there can only be one winner. Which is unfortunate.
