[REQ-LOGO+BANNER] $25 For Web Design Forum Logo and Banner

Type of Contest: Logo AND Banner
Prize: $25.00

Contest End Date: August 18 10:00pm EST

Size Requirements: I need a standard header sized banner (horizontal) As well as a logo that will be about 100x100 (that can be reduced to about 25x25 without too much loss of detail)

Colors: It should match the blues on the website (webdf.com) plus whatever colors you want. If at all possible I would like to have a white background and the same design with a black background. If this isn't possible the white should be just fine.

General Information: I'm looking for an 'authoritative' design that but still sleek and powerful.

Additional Info: I would like in addition to WebDF.com in the banner for there also to be the longer version 'Web Design Forum'

oh, well i can easily replace the text on the icon to WDF, but could you please tell us who is going in the right direction so far?

As far as the banner goes, I think ohgar has hit the nail on the head. I don't really like any of the logos. For the logo I don't really just want a the text "wdf" I would like "WDF" to be integrated into it (sorry for the confusiong) So for example

grinch... I like that logo on the bottom right. If you could lighted up the blue to match ohgar_boy's banner that'd be great. Also, can you make it so its not diagonal.

zhalefarin, I hate to admit it, but I honestly can't come up with anything better than what I've come up with so far.. anything I could consider removing in what I've done already to make things better? I hope you'd still consider my design, even though I've failed to make a logo...
