Contest End Date & Time : Friday, April 8th - 1pm CST (6pm GMT)
Size Requirements : The space I have open in my header right now is 260x80, but it can be adjusted as needed - a good scalable vector image is a necessity!
Color Requirements :This is for a baby/child focused site so the colors will need to be chosen accordingly. I have been toying with this colorscheme, but am open to anything kid friendly
General Requirements :The domain is ReadBaby.com and will be a site focused on teaching babies and young children to read. We will feature reviews of the most popular programs and have forums for parents.
Additional Information :The site is currently parked and just beginning development. There is currently no slogan or tagline but if you can come up with something creative, feel free to include it in your design!

Not a bad start, but I can honestly say that the baby head rising from the book kind of scares me!

I think a more human baby that is not growing out of the book would work better.

Sammy, I like the direction you went with this...Unfortunately the domain is ReadBaby.com, so can you switch the words around when you get a chance? BabyRead.com is taken by a Chinese site and I wouldn't want any confusion!

Gooddesigner - the little sun guy is pretty cute, but I'm not too sure about the font and colors. For a site geared towards babies (obviously used by parents though) I think the colors should not be as bold and perhaps a more playful font.

My original idea involved something along the lines of a baby and a book...I am really hoping for another entry from dlight , I feel the first one was on the right path...No offense, it just honestly freaked me out a little without seeing any of the baby's body!

So far, I am leaning towards Sammyloski's design, but there is plenty of time left until the contest ends!

I have seen plenty of great work from scorpionagency and desco.studio in other contests (hint)

I am not sure about the "Start your baby reading today" as used by both Sammyloski and Gooddesigner and would definitely be curious to see any other slogan ideas. As of right now, I consider both of those designs to be the front-runners...They are both very similar, but also very different.

Soheil - I like your entry, but I'm not quite sure why everyone has decided to go with a rainbow in their design...I would be very interested to see any other designs you submit (without rainbows).

@gooddesigner when the Contest holder says that he's leaning towards my design, I'm pretty sure he does not mean slap on a rainbow and the bad slogan that I used. Try to come up with something yourself and offer that instead.

I must agree with what Sammy says...I would enjoy seeing some more creative ideas, rather than a remake of the same idea over and over. I came here because I had absolutely no idea what to do with it and knew that there are plenty of people here with brilliant, creative minds.

That being said...I really do like the look you gave it Gooddesigner, and hope to see many more great entries (preferably less rainbows)
