.info Renewing .info domains (Cheapest registrar)

Just curious where people like to renew their domains. I know that many registrars will give you $1.99 pricing for one year and then bump you up to ~$6.95 for any additional years. Doesn't anyone know of a registrar that allows transfers/renewals still at the $1.99 rate?

Thanks.

Love to know too. But I think there's none.

Cheapest I've found is my special pricing at Moniker ($4.49).

Enom did roll out this kind of pricing one month ago... :D You miss out the golden chance...

On ipower.com seems to be lower, but i have not tested this on ipower.

Transfer .info 1 year - 2.95$ , 2 years 5.90$.

limitations might apply....e.g. 50 domains max.

p.s.
read ipower info on this forum first.

Good luck.

your deal at moniker is the best you will get.

False alarm, Moniker's pricing is only on new registrations. Renewal rate is still $6.95 for .infos. Has anyone found a registrar with cheap .info transfers other than ipower?

...well then its back to godaddy @ $5.23 with the loophole...

I dont think any registrar does renewals cheap...i suppose it would take away the point of getting people to register them in the first place.

Have been renewing into GD in bulk with QB's at about $4.86. Can't find any cheaper. Do let us know if you come across any good deals... but not with dodgy registrars :)

I think moniker has the cheapest and is more reliable then the ones that are even cheaper.

very bad marketing technique. anyway, at any registrar we have to renew with the double the amount of registration cost. poor.

Yep, that's the way Afilias has structured the pricing on .INFO registrations and renewals. It has been effective at increasing the .INFO market share, but has made renewal time a little difficult for domainers that overindulged on the cheap reg pricing.

Not from their side. Info has a lot of names out. A lot of people built sites on them or want to hang on to them for other reasons. It is called a loss leader. Give you a deal on an oil change so that you will get that other stuff fixed at the same time. Standard business practice.

I have a few domains at Godaddy, that I would also like to renew.... Just curious as to what is a QB? And how do you do it? How many do you need to be able to take advantage?
