I have built in the past a few scripts that would automate catching a domain using restful api's.

I've worked with namesilo and dynadot. The success rate is minimal ( i have catched a few dropped domains ) and their api's get hammered a lot when it's time to catch those popular .coms

I'd like to know if anyone has any knowledge if there are any more registrars that have an api that can be used to catch dropped domains.

The thing is pro drop services like dropcatch.com and snap and pheenix have this timed down to a millisecond. You will always get a minimal success rate until you start using 100-s of registrars at the same time. The thing is even if they give you their API the more valuable domains will always go on auction. Or in the case of dropcatch.com if hugedomains wants it, they are going to get it.
