Hi Guys,
I'm looking to develop a desktop drop catch application. Yes I know I can never compete with the big boys, but I'm certain that with enough testing and research I will be able to grab some domains that will provide a solid ROI. I'm building this as a personal tool to do some experimenting.
Unfortunately I'm completely stuck as to the best API to use to get started with this. Enom has obnoxious setup fees, moniker seems really strict and not very eager to share their api access, dynadot has a minimum balance of 500 dollars... and I'm on a tight budget.
Is it unheard of for a registrar to have an API that's free to use? Are there any others that don't cost quite so much to get started with? I'd appreciate any help!
