Does Moniker offer an API?

I looked on there site but can't seem to find it.

Other then Dynadot and Namesilo API, is there any other api that you would recommend for a drop catching script?

I've tried most of them, but they're not exactly competitive for good names.

I believe to use Monikers API you need top deposit something like $5k into your account, but I think they are one of the better ones FWIW.

Fabulous you also need to have like at least 750 names with them or some other requirement I can't remember, such as a certain amount in your account.

I emailed OnlineNic recently about their API and they said that at the moment it doesn't support drop-catching!?

every registrar who support api can be used for drop-catching.you just need to ask them for their limit querys etc
Moniker - no need to upload 5 k...just 50$..and go..you are ready to use their api but before that read their limits.

This is incorrect. To get access to the Moniker API you need to meet one of the following criteria:
1) Deposit at least $5k into your Moniker account
2) Purchase at least 100 domains from SnapNames

That's the only way you're going to get Moniker API access. The best thing about their API is that unlike others, you can send multiple domains in each request.

As for other registrars..Some are picky and specify that they do not allow drop catching. What does that mean exactly? It means if they see you sending the same request ("registration" for example) to the same couple of names over an extended period of time they will ban you.

You have an account there..But, have you started trying to use their API yet? Try and run their API and you'll probably get an error. You don't need 5k to open a Moniker account, but it is required for access to their API.
