question Registrant Organization: Afternic, LLC - On Behalf of Domain Owner Vs Buyer?

I was checking domains and found a domain which has:
Registrant Organization: Afternic, LLC - On Behalf of Domain Owner
and another one that has:
Registrant Organization: Afternic, LLC - On Behalf of Domain Buyer

checking their history, the Owner version seems was expired/auctioned domain on godaddy where the Buyer domain was previously owned by Hugedomains then changed to this Registrant

can anyone give us some enlighten us what would be the difference?

Godaddy's representative and holds the answer, should he reply.

Afternic, on behalf of domain Buyer -- you'll see this after a name is bought at auction or closeouts, before it has transferred over to the Buyer's Godaddy account.

We have various holding accounts for different types of sales. It just means that the domain is moving to a new owner.

it seems finally moved from Owner to new owner but no information showing in whois except country and state

for the other domain under Buyer its still the same and it seems its the same since June 2020

Could it also mean that the domain is being held by GoDaddy/Afternic during a Lease-To-Own (LTO) deal?

Not at the time of writing; they didn't offer LTO back then. That said, it's a very good question now.

As Joe noted, these accounts indicate that domains are transitioning to new owners. Lease to Own transactions don’t fall into this category.
