Thought I was done with them after the Enom shakeup, but it looks like Enom did not get all my names from them. Of course it is hard to tell what is really at Registerfly since it says I have domains in my account that have not been there in 2 years :td: This is really fun when you have hundreds of domains spread over several places.

Now I get an offer at Sedo on a name that got lost in the shuffle. It apparently expired, but the expiration date says the domain has been renewed with my info in a few places in the who is. It seems Registerfly is keeping it for some reason because the starting year would have reset if just expired and somebody else registered it. I contacted Registerfly to find out about it and it has been over a week with no response so I had to decline the offer.

To make it even better, I find out that the only other domain I had left there expired last week. I go to renew it on the same day it expired and even get a receipt I paid via email, but nothing happens :'( . I have no idea why this domain was not moved to Enom but it should have been since I have had it since 2002. I started a support ticket on this as well and no response either. That said, is Registerfly still in business or do they have a grudge against customers who migrated to Enom? Also, is there anything I can do about the domain that just expired even if Registerfly is doing nothing?

ICANN is supposedly freezing all domains that are RF so that they do not expire until this whole thing shakes out. You may try getting into RF, getting EPP codes, and transferring out to another registrar. Some people have had luck with this, while others have not.

RF is currently in litigation with ICANN over its accreditation. There is also at least one class action against RF (see registerflylawsuit.com).

As far as I know, it is near impossible to renew or register any domains with RF right now.

Ok, thanks for the help :). Been out of the business for a while besides selling and renewing names.

Welcome back. It's just too bad you are having to deal with RF. Many others are have similar problems. See www.registerflies.com for more up-to-date info on RF.

Registerfly Still Alive?

Well, maybe in a vegetative state of coma. :td:

There's a website up on autopilot, but that seems to be about it. If you've been away, do a search and you'll find plenty of threads with valuable info already posted within the past 60 days.

I heard about this RF is having many problems at the moment. If you can I would transfer the names I have heard that a lot off people can't. I had a few myself I'm just glade that they didn't have anything that great. I myself have had a problem trying to transfer my domains. I was luck to get at least 1 domain transfer. but I still have about 6 that are still their. best advice stay away from RF.
