Registerfly domains transfered next week

ICANN says an existing registrar (Godaddy?) is taking over Registerfly's domains. The announcement will be made next week:http://blog.icann.org/

Good news I hope for anyone that still has names there.

Just this hour I got an email from the fly wanting me to renew my three --that I moved away months ago. It is unbelieveable that this guy is still going.

I bet taking the domains away will not stop him "registering" new ones and sending out renewal notices for domains that are elsewhere.

With due respect for the people who have totally lost 75,000 domains, and untold businesses and valuable properties, perhaps this affair, by shining a light on just how poorly secured the system is, will become the agent for important reform.

However I do not yet see much sign of it.

That's great news if it actually happens, I still
have six there, not too too concerned about those
as there is lots of time before they expire....although one
of my domains expired on the 18th and ICANN
hasn't responded to my email yet.
it's sitting on expirefly....

like I'm going to send money to them to renew it :bah:

So, it looks like Godaddy will be the lucky company that picks up more clients
