It is a shame that such an awful company has been accredited.

DNA has a long standing grude against them, suprising from someone who has purported never using them.

No problems here, RegisterFly.com and domainsite are my two fav registrars.

And what grudge does the Better Business Bureau have against them?
And do you deny that for some reason Registerfly loses the
domain names of its customers? I would sure like to hear Registerfly
respond to those repeated charges by Namepros members.

Well it seems they have a member here who does respond to clients, regfly (i think).

dna, unless you have first hand experience I would suggest you stop bashing them.

I have a couple hundred names at RegisterFly and they are nice. Use their online chat if you ever need help. It's a great site for advanced users that safeguard their passwords, check their email address and lock their domains.

I have first hand experience, I got a shoddy service and was even conned. They didn't give a s**t about me. Until I provided screenshots for proof, and contacted trading standards. Anyway thats gone and sorted, I havn't had any problems with them since.

p.s. that problem was to do with new.net domains.

Marisolblue, thank you for the warning.
By the way, can you tell me how many shills
Registerfly has in Namepros?

zeeble:

Based on a number of issues we ended our relationship with new.net. From a customer service perspective it required a significant amount of resources and troubleshooting, more than any other extensions we support, this factored into our decision.

if you have further issues you can PM me

I haven't found one single company that I've seen or dealt with that didn't have bad press somewhere .... It is simply impossible to be that perfect ....

I've also never had a problem of any significance @ Registerfly.com and the small problems were ironed out pretty quickly :tu:

I don't consider it "Shills" to support a company you deal with ....

I do consider it Flaming and or Spamming a thread with Irrelevant Negative posts only though .....

I agree, all big companies will have customers who had a bad experience, its impossible to keep everyone happy.

regfly is a great company, they are my first choice for domain names. the support is courtious, and fast. THey now even have an 1-800 number for phone support. Congrats to them for their accredidation

RF has had it's problems, and I've had a few. The key there is getting past "first level" support to someone who knows something or can make a decision.

I spoke with the person by phone a while back who goes by "regfly" username here. I did ask him about the accreditation. He indicated once accredited, some new registrations would be done directly, but as Enom's largest reseller, they wouldn't likely automatically move names away. I believe he said they had some relationship with Tucows as well, but I don't know how. Sounds like things will be phased it. Hopefully using their own softare instead of third level (API to enom to registry) access will be less problematic and easier for support to handle.

No, I'm not a shill for them, but I do have about 1/3 of my domains there, and have been pleased with their domain management/reporting controls. I also use Enom and Fabulous.com extensively.

Besides when I use eNom directly, RegisterFly has been one of my favorite choices in the past year. I like them, and every time I needed support they took care of me quickly. Their interface and management system is great (though it does still experience a few hiccups). Overall, they get a thumbs up from me.

DNA, when you say "shills" I'm not sure what you mean. Normally that term is used to imply fake bids or fake offers on a domain sale. I guess you are using it to describe fans or supporters of the company?

Please don't call us "shills". Instead, perhaps you can refer to us as "happy customers". :)

Congrats are in order to Paul V (regfly) and registerfly!

Paul, if there are any open problems here, better fix 'em fast! Now's a good
time for registerfly to test its mettle on its first few days being an ICANN-
accredited registrar!

Great, another ICANN registrar to add to the competition and to customers'
confusion.

I believe he meant insiders, employees, or owners of registerfly posting as users when he referred to "shills".
