Sorry I upset anyone ,but $1.99USD for a .info is not an Earth Shattering Price

Compare with WWest, they are still selling at 6.95 or something
They got all the way cheaper (LOL).

I use RF for .info and .name
and GD for .com,.net,.org,.US and .biz to ensure me get the lowest price :)

That's a great deal but I'm sticking with 150 NP$ .info registration found right here at NamePros :)

No one said it was earth shattering, but it's better than their normal $2.99 or the usual $6.95 or more charged by others. I suppose you pay less than $1.99? If so, where?

NP$ are not 'free' - you can earn them and you can also buy them.

Dave is trying to help us all and people are just abusing his assistance. If you do not have something constructive to write, don't write at all.

My Point was and still is that $1.99USD is not earth-shattering
It is a reasonable price .
Yes it is cheaper than $2.95 or $6.95
but Renewals on those $1.99 .info's will be $7.99

All those who took up the offer of free .info's at the end of last year have been dumping them for give-away prices here at NamePros and at other places because of the looming High Renewal Prices.

And No I don't Buy them Less than $1.99 ,but I do Buy them at $1.99 and any renewals at the same price.

Again, no one ever said the price was "earth shattering".. which is why I'm a bit put off by the statement.

People have been dumping their .infos because they regged, for the most part, whatever came to mind.. and most were hoping for a quick sale before renewal was due. No different than if they'd offered free .com's, I expect.

Care to share where you renew .infos for $1.99?

In my view, $1.99 is more than a reasonable price for any domain ext. btw.. there have been some good recorded sales of .info domains.

Yes $1.99 is a Reasonable price and I personally think .info's are great.

I buy them constantly and will continue to buy them (regardless of price).
Indeed some of the good prices for .info's have been for one's I purchased

It is a great ext. ,which is under-rated and not used enough.

Affilias only applies the promotion to new registrations. If you are getting at 1.99 to renew the registrar you are buying from is taking a major loss since they are paying around 6.00
