Just a heads up:

I found a glitch in registerfly's domain registration system. If one is researching domains, there is a limit to the number one can research. If this limit is achieved, a redirect to a 404ish page states:

"You have exceeded the maximum amount of searches allowed in one day, you will not be able to search again until tommorrow."

Well that is all fine and dandy, until you login and try to register the domains you just researched. Apparently the same script is used for the registration availability as is used for the general search. If you exceed the limit you can't register!

Yeah I'm locked out aswell and have registered hundreds of names with them over the past year. Guess they don't care for the business so I'll take it elsewhere.

lextalionis and namemogul

Due to the increased number of people trying to run automated queries we may block ip address ranges time to time for short periods when we see unusual activity coming from the same range. If you are still experiencing issues please PM me.

Not if your servers and direct connections to the registry are in danger of
being maxed out. Netsol, for example, is very strict in limiting WHOIS queries
to their servers.

They were from the registry not the registrar just reply with "correct information" or they'll probably be deleted

2005-12-14 - Invalid Whois Notices for .be names
The .be registry may be checking the registrant information on many of the names registered to ensure compliance. If you have received an Invalid Whois Email from the .be registry please do a whois lookup to ensure the information is accurate. If it is reply to the notice and confirm the information is accurate. If you need to update it please make the appropriate changes and reply to the email advising it has been updated.

It happened with our wild west AP, and they are godaddy, after about 15 who is searches, it said i had reached my max for the 24 hr period. I was going to contact them and ask why i happend. Will update, also i find if you go to network solutions, and search you can check on 10 at atime and all extensions at that time. I use them but reg, else where.

I would like to add that they have a glich in thier unlock/lock routines and name server change service. It's been 4 day's with ticket support and still my .be domain doesn't resolve. Where all other places it only takes a few hours my isp is fast at updating dns. If i had the cash I would transfer it to another register. Registerfly sucks.
