How much does it cost to register a new domain name extension.?
For example, i'm a winner : i decide to create .winner extension
yes i know it's a ridiculus example lol..
i know it will be easier said than done, i know snif

i think just the application fee to apply for one is around $185,000 and if it is accepted then i think its another $25,000 registration fee. there are many others expenses involved with it too. probably need to spend $500,000 - $1 million for one.

You can create your own for free (for use in your corporate network for example).

If you want to have it added to the root it's another matter
