I have a number of names at regiserfly. Some of you know that registefly has become an ICANN accredited registrar, as well as being a long time Enom reseller. it now appears, most names that are renewed at registerfly are now actually being processed as a transfer from Enom under the registerfly reseller account to registerfly the ICANN registrar. I'm not sure if it will make any real difference, but a few of mine failed the first try on the transfer. When I retried them within one day of the expiration or on the expiration date, they no longer attempted to transfer to the ICANN registerfly, but renewed at the Registerfly/Enom reseller arrangement.
Anyone seen any advantages to a domain eithe staying as a Enom/Registerfly domain vs. going to the ICANN approved registerfly side? It seems timing of renewals can have an effect if there is any advantage one way or the other.
