Great sale! I just saw it on Sedo earlier today. I think this is the first big French .TV sale. Shows the global footprint of TV - and I'm starting to see quite a few developed french .TVs now.

There is currently a thread in domain discussion area, where someone who has lived in France for 3 years, says it is only .fr .com .es .de and .it they see in France.
Clearly then this is not the case

Definitely .fr and .com, I don't often see .eu references, and talking about ccTLD recognition the .tv extension is incredibily gaining in popularity/acceptance by the young audience like in UK.

a) regarder means "to watch"

b) .tv is not a popular used extension in France and I confirm.

c) I guess that at least half of the price is due to the traffic (AdSense revenue) and by the way according Alexa strangely the traffic shut down after the sale.
