Redirect.com was originally launched in 2012 as a solution to monetizing leftover remnant international traffic. In the past year, they expanded to include selling off this traffic to bidders. This bid system makes it easy to buy traffic and in turn, provides a higher RPM (Revenue per thousand) for their customers selling off their traffic.
AdEngage’s business model was very similar to that of Redirect.com’s. Therefore, the acquisition and transition was seamless.
