I received a fairly lowball offer for Background.tv this morning and was just wondering what people thought about the domain. Over 300,000,000 Google results for 'Background' and 200,000+ Ovt.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Right now, anything between 500-2000 would be good. In the future, this will be more than that.

You can either make an offer that would send it to auction at $500.00, or you can bypass the auction and buy it outright for $750.00- and avoid auction altogether.

I'm not in a real hurry to sell right now. I replied that I was expecting a higher offer and left it at that. If he's really interested in the name he'll respond, but I won't hold my breath.

Don't sell now! the game just in 1st ending--when i bought me .tv's i put em up for sale--sold one for 750 euros--hate i sold that one--now, all are off the market--all .tv doubters gonna cry in their milk.

I also suggest that you politely tell the buyer that you cannot accept $100 for a gem.

Don't be discourage with that kind of offer, if you learn to make a negative input to a positive result. You can make a close deal with your selling price. Don't shut the door right away, listen and analyze your prospective client.

In the meantime there are plenty of development opportunities if I get the time.

I wouldn't sell this name for $100 if I were you. I'd hold on to it as it should be worth more IMO
