Reading the Context of a Post

Sorry, but this is just my rant - the action happens to me often and it annoys the heck out of me sometimes. :hehe:

Do you guys have the same problem that when you make a post - be it on politics, domains, the weather, or whatever else - that people love to pick out a little tiny point that you made an as auxillary point and try to argue it in the wrong context?

You'll use Part A and Part B to substantiate your argument. Part B will be an arm of Part A and only makes sense when it is put together. Obviously, it would be flawed if it stands on its own.

I hope that made sense, but I'm sure it didn't.

Well that is the way it works when dealing with other people :D Everyone has their own take on things and people have a way of seeing things differently... it can either be very interesting OR very very annoying :lol:

I totally agree with NPQueen on this. Unfortunately, being written and not spoken word, there is a great deal left up to interpretation - you can't see tone or emphasis, and so it is left up to each individual reader to decide what the pretext of the post is. I hate being misunderstood, but also realize that it's a risk you take wherever you interact with others in any way.

Try not to let it bother you - don't take it personally. We've all been misunderstood at one time or another.... :imho:
