I came across the following thread from 9 months ago.

Just made a big (quantity) domain purchase

One member bought a large lot of comain names containing US states and good keywords.

I wonder if people think he made a good decision to buy those domains at that time. I hope the original poster doesn;t mind me digging out his thread--maybe he has commets too...

I think he made a good move because those should get a trickle of traffic and one click on each name would more than pay for the regs at those bulk prices.

No real telling on whether they turned out to be a good decision unless I see revenue stats.

I don't see those making a big profit, but hey, I've seen weirder sales done online. Good luck.

I really like what he did with the domains though. He stuck to the state insurance theme and redirected all of them to his ushealth.com site. I would say collectively that they paid for themselves plus he didn't have to develop each one of them. Even just throwing up a templete on each site would be a PITA not to mention hosting. Way to save time and still give end users what they're looking for!

Quantity without quality is not the best way to make profits.
But you can be lucky and sell 2 domains for 2k each and u get the investment back...

Anyway its like a lottery sometimes , more cards , more chances.
