domain Rate.pro - received offer on sedo

Hi all,

I received an offer of $500.00 for Rate.pro which I have listed on Sedo (this was the number I had listed for a minimum offer). This name has a premium domains score of 549:

I won't bias any potential appraisals with my thoughts, but I would appreciate the input of some experienced domainers here as I enter into negotiations.

It depends if it's another domainer or if a financial institution found it and realized it's probably the best name since rate.com.

If it was my name I wouldn't let it go for less than 10k. If I was the buyer (a domainer) I wouldn't pay more than $500. So thats the issue. Great name, don't let it go cheap. It's one of the better .pro's that so perfectly fits the ext I've seen.

Thanks Ben, I appreciate the feedback. I counter offered with the amount of 10K. This is probably one of my best names and I'm not going to give it away - I'd rather develop it and sell it for much more down the line.

I would say low XXXX.

I agree - hold out for low $xxxx because right now I would guess it's worth $2500-3000 and down the road much more. Not enough data to really say what it's worth of course, until you and the buyer agree what it is truly worth at that moment in time.

This one was on my wishlist for so long, I am sure I would not sell it on sedo for $500. You would only get peanuts selling it here at NP, but the end-user on sedo should pay what it's worth. And if they buy it for $xxxx, let them know where they can get rates.pro for a reasonable price to make a set :sold:

the difference between what end users will pay and speculators is large, I would seriously consider low $xxxx offers - just my opinion
