Rate My Banner?

hey, i just made a banner for a new site of mine, and what i need is for some one to rate it.Please note i made this banner in paint, so it wasnt as easy.i think i did a get job for using paint, but its your opinion that counts

Sorry but again, it does nothing for me. The gradients are pretty pixely and poor and the text is just dull.

Umm use photoshop to get the required effect. Also use some different font coz its not looking nice...

well, I think for using paint that it looks really good. I use fireworks and illustrator to do my work, but I cant even draw a smiley face in paint! So good job. Its a good start and maybe soon you can try out a good graphics program. You dont have to get photoshop to make decent graphics. There are less expensive (and even free) programs that are capable of making some great basic graphics.

looks simple. if u enlarge it, it willl loose quality. so go for photoshop cs2 or paint shop pro. u can even get it made here from someone for np$.

U'll need a better a better banner.
the gradient is too plain and it's plain black.
the words r difficult to read.
if u dont have photoshop.
search for GIMP on google and download it.
it's free.
use tat to design a good banner.

As others said, you need a more highend program like Adobe Photoshop or Jasc Paint Shop Pro. A free program similiar to the ones mentioned above is called Gimp.

To rate your banner itself, 1/10. Really has nothing to it.
