1. I am SICK of seeing topics about the google search for "failure" - Here's an index of only the first FEW threads I've seen about this:

It also makes me sick that people would say that "they" found out about this search. They DIDN'T. It was a GOOGLE BOMB - a highly unethical and almost illegal way (b/w theft) of getting to be the #1 result.

Does it occur to you that some would find this offensive? After finding this many results, it shocked me a little, and I DO Find it offensive.

2. PEOPLE: Just because your name is appraised does NOT mean the appraiser is interested in buying it!!

I am ALSO SICK of getting solicited via the PM system. I've been nice to them but from here on out - I may send a ruder reply like "don't solicit me" (but nothing really offensive, don't worry). Soliciting via PM should be against the rules here!

So, if somebody SAYS they are interested in the name, then yeah go ahead and contact them. But otherwise - DON'T SPAM THE PM SYSTEM! Please!!!

Soliciting via PM should be against the rules here!

It is against the rules. Go to the Site Rules and scroll down to "DO NOT SPAM"

Have you even bothered to report the spams you've been receiving through pm to a Forum Leader or Staff? Members should report every incident of being spammed, as it's prohibited. It's difficult to know you were spammed if you don't report it.

Yeah, definately report the soliciting, it's not too late, and it will give a warning to the users not to do so in future

And I also find it boring to read reposts of the same topic, let's have some variety in here... and stay away from polictics! (esp. American)

If you still have the PMs, which I'm sure you do... noone would be stupid enough to delete them :D... just simply give a staff member your login, so they can view the PMs, and deal with the problem

As far as #1 goes it's pretty hypocritical to bitch about the number of threads on this topic when you started your own after it had already been posted many many times.

If you find it so offensive why did you post it yourself?

#2. Already been addressed. If you don't report rules violations to the mods how will they know there has been a violation.

HHDomains - please don't swear. I find it highly offensive. My thread did not focus on just 1 google search, but SEVERAL, where people added their own little findings and made a fun little infobase out of them. Sorry for being unique, geez.

No one in that thread brought it up before you. Whether your thread "focused" on it or not you started a thread with it and now you are bitching about others doing the same. ie: hypocritical


As for #2, I have no idea what you are talking about. From my reply it was obvious I read the other replies. Perhaps you should do the same.
