ranking the non-premium letters, thanks to L-L-L.COM I found the answer!
Hi,
According to 3character.com PREMIUM letters are: a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i,l,m,n,o,p,r,s,t
lesser premium are: j,k,u,v,w
and lower quality letter are: q,x,y,z
A recurring question is: Can the non-premium letters be ranked depending on their quality? Which non-premium letter is best and which is absolutely the worst?
I used the recent L-L-L.COM popularity to investigate this and here is the result:
From good to bad:
K, W, U, V, J, Y, X, Z, Q
a few observations:
- K is the best letter, W is almost as good. In fact they are not bad at all
- U and V are third and fourth with acceptable but definitely less quality than K and W
- J and Y are medium quality among the non-premiums
- X and Z are really bad compared to the other non-premiums
- Q is clearly the worst among the non-premiums
How did I investigate this?
I observed high interest in L-L-L.COM name recently so this is what I did:
1. I ran an availability test of L-L-L.com for all PREMIUM letters, there were none available
2. I took the set of PREMIUM letter, and added all non-premiums to it, one at a time
3. I ran availability tests of L-L-L.COM domains for all PREMIUM letters and for every test one non-premium letter. I repeated this for every non-premium
4. Looking at the results I counted the number of free domains per non-premium letter. My ranking is based on these numbers.
Here are the numbers of available L-L-L.COM domains as per an hour or so ago:
premium + j: 330
premium + k: 33
premium + q: 650
premium + u: 127
premium + v: 202
premium + w: 36
premium + x: 504
premium + y: 399
premium + z: 566
One last note: of course I did not really find THE answer, but this should be a good indication. For a better answer we should investigate some others domains as well, like LLLL.COM of maybe some others.
