What's the future for mobile devices - qwerty or keypad?

I think voice will take a bit longer. People will have to get used to talking into there phones in public. They will probably keep using the keypad for porn :hehe:

If voice becomes the main system - will we be able to reg typos for people who stutter ?

Blackjack has decent reviews but questionable battery life. T-Mobiles "Dash" seems to be the real deal, feels good, handles great, slim, sturdy, yet only on GSM :td:
I'll wait for the iPhone to come in a sprint version. Touchscreen will be the way to in the future as it extends the screen size to multimedia active. Essentially Blackberry and Treo will have to make some adjustments. Not quite yet, but in the long run, full screen phones are going to make the race. which, in the end, is going to point towards qwerty on a touchscreen :imho:

You might be waiting a very long time for an official released product. I wonder if an EU or asian iPhone will work though.

i am just guessing that for the next 1-2 years it will be standard keypad with predictive text software and then voice will be added on everything as well as gps on everything
