This subforum has been might QUIET!!
So a quick poll on the Snapnames auction! Is this going to shake things up? Or is everyone hunkering down renewing and saving up for some potential big drops in a couple of months?
Personally, I think the auction means very little overall - similar in a way to the .co debacle. The value of .TV is moving ahead quite nicely and the auction is so poorly advertised as to be almost invisible. Lack of sales means nothing....
BUT
Obviously a big sale will stir interest in .TV but I don't feel anyone should make any great readings about the future from an oversee venture. 33,000 Facebook friends and SXSW appearance might stoke some interest.
I hope people get some great bargains and there is some overall .TV interest made. Maybe I'm wrong and it will be a huge success and help overall price buoyancy.
