Quick question

I'm wondering how i can make my pictures on my site so that you cannot save picture as. can anyone help me out?

Are you saying you don't people to right click and use the "save as" option? If you are then you need a simple java script that disables right click altogether. I am not sure where to get the script but I do know that it would solve your problem.

Just be aware that ALL right clicking is disabled.

Just be aware that no matter what protection you try to place on your images, they can still be saved very easily by the viewer. All they have to do is press the 'Print Scrn' button, and paste it into any graphics program.

thnx for all the information.. is there a better way to do this tehn? if the user really wants to go through all that to save a pic, tehn iduno.. but as long as they cant directly save a picture i think i am satisfied.. you see my site is a rating site, i just dont want people to be able to save a users picture to use somewhere else..

Not that I know of. It takes all of 20 seconds to 'PrintScrn' and paste into Photoshop... so there is never any way to adequately protect the images. Using a java script or something similar will prevent right-click, but that's it.

yeah theres no way to totally block anyone from taking your images... unless you generate the image each time it is displayed... verycomplex though...
