Quick MOBI Question

Quick question...what syntax do I use to run a whois on a .mobi domain? The standard whois blahblah.mobi doesnt work right

Most likely, you have searched in a directory that doesn't contain .mobi records. I found one that works:

Go here => http://pc.mtld.mobi/whois/index.php, and enter the name you want to look up including the .mobi suffix

I cant do that, I am calling this via a script. I need the *NIX command to look up a MOBI domain. the *NIX command 'whois blah.mobi' returns the wrong information since the standard lookup directory is NOT the mobi directory.
