Demand will grow, but not as fast as people may think-or hope!
I give it another few years, given the general public at large still need to know what .mobi is and what it can do!

Certainly. Nothing gets adopted overnight.

It appears to be in demand more and more everyday. It is fun watching .mobi grow in to what may be a household name very soon!

Hi rak, welcome to NP. There is demand for names in all extensions, just to varying degrees. I guess I would need to know how you measure demand before I could answer your question. I find it impossible to imagine demand would ever fade for sex.mobi but sadly there are some who think they will get rich from bad names, hoping there will be demand for them in the future.

Monitor the forums, the sales, the registrations, the new releases of sites, international markets and trends, new technology, global financial markets...

Where do you find all of this?

On NamePros. TA DA!

Currently an estimated 3.5-4 billion cellphones in use globally with a projection of 7 billion by 2010.

It has already grown faster than I ever imagined.

You're right. There is and will be no demand for Reno.mobi and Navy.mobi. Turn them over.

:hi:

I agree about the need for your specific definition and quantification for demand ... that's the only way that we can fairly offer our opinions to help answer your original question here, IMHO. :gl:

Who are you referring to in, "on what all they will do with mobi"?

There is a huge amount of FREE information being shared here at the #1 Namepros .MOBI Forum™, as well. Welcome! :tu:

IMHO it wil be in demand after the public is aware of it and when cell providers can make the mobile web more accesible and friendly....its starting to happen now (bit by bit) but it could take 6 months to (20xx) no one knows....its all up to the big companies (at least I think) But now we got some sparks going... And developing your own .mobi names will only ad fuel for the demand!!!
