Question about Google index

Hi,

I'm new to domain flipping, and I might have questions regarding my domains.

If I post my domain name here on this forum, will it be indexed by search engines? I don't want my prospective buyers see my posts about my domains here.

Any advice? Thanks

Yes it will unfortunately.

What I do is, I post little screenshots of my names to avoid indexing.
Another thing to do is to insert irrelevant characters between each letter, like. [d][o][m][a][n][dot][com] for example

Is that a disadvantage? Suppose you owned [ hot driver .com ], and you posted about it here. The thread would be indexed pretty quickly. Now lets say a domainer is looking for a driving name for a client. He would pick up your post, and realise that the name is for sale. He may not have thought of "hot driver" as a keyphrase, so you have now got your name in front of a potential buyer.

What is the downside of being in the search engines?

@Kuffy let's say I own a local domain that I want to sell to a local business, I don't want them to see my thread on this forum about how to make him buy my domain.

Or even with your example, I just don't want a potential buyer knows the "tactics" I use to make them buy.

Maybe I'm being too paranoid?

Or, if you really want/have to share your domain, you can always include it as an IMAGE in your post here.

You first have to upload the image on a free image sharing website like, imageshack.us. Once your image is uploaded to there website, you will get a URL that this forum asked you previously.
