QQ chat - Connect to Chinese domainers

I wanted to share with everyone here on Namepros a good strategy for connecting directly to Chinese domainers. QQ, is an instant messaging software service developed by Chinese company Tencent Holdings Limited and is available in an internationally supported version that has an option to translate language.

To get started using QQ visit imqq.com and follow the steps to download and install the chat feature on your desktop computer or mobile device.
Note: imqq.com site has been slow for me and had to refresh.

Once you have installed and launched the QQ chat your home module will launch and you will have access to many good features like "wechat" you get a QQ email address and more.

To add friends or groups or to search for groups click the following icon listed on the bottom of your screen.

Below is a list of some of the groups I have joined, you can join these by adding the group number in the search box.

Note: you will get banned from most groups if you just post your names in chat, you need to make friends and sell them your names.

I have found it easiest to list your names on 4.cn and you can direct them to a landing page which is Chinese where buyers can easily purchase.

A different problem - I have finally signed up and gotten a password using the Andy emulator above (thanks eckhardt). Trying to log in on my computer, and it keeps asking me to scan the QR code on the computer screen, but nowhere on the mobile QQ program is there a tool to scan the QR code. Any help would be appreciated!

Look in the first post there are many groups listed. Join and you'll see chat.

@Dylan Andersen when you login to a new device (desktop for you) it asks additional verification. It asked sms for me, and it worked, so I haven't had this issue with QR but my guess is to scan it with your default scanner not with QQ app and see how it goes.

Finally found the QR scanner - it was in the add people section of the mobile app

Try signing up from QQ mobile app - doesn't require a Chinese phone number there.

I have downloaded QQ International App and WeChat app both but could not find those domain related IDs

4 cn charges 8% for every escrow transaction. No extra fee for brokers. For gold members, 4 cn applies 4%.

But if you want to go for Auction or BinSales they ask you to deposit 400 RMB, is there any chance where we have to pay brokerage only after selling the domain

So I joined the domain discussion group and I am talking one-on-one with this Chinese domain investor. I sent him pics of my portfolio and he sent me a voicemail with his opinion (I think..). I do not understand it though . That and I am having trouble translate the characters he types to me

if you hold the message you can translate it i think, ive just been using QQ to talk to people that have emailed me about my domains, but they all seem to be lowballers . still not accepted to any of the groups i tried to join

I am talking to a Chinese domainer and banker, he has thousands of domains. These are some of them that he told me he has.

He told me to invest in English extensions, but I don't want to make him mad because those are bad domain names imo.
