Hey everybody,

What are your opinions on the quality of the push services at godaddy? I know everyone favors enom for that, but godaddy's just launched a mean sale on domain transfers (6.95). I'm finding it tempting, as my names are currently somewhat spread out, but I don't want to get into a bad "push" situation...

Thanx in advance for your thoughts *<|

To put it plainly they suck. I'm in a situation now where I bought some domains that a guy has had with a WWD reseller for almost a year. Due for registration in a few weeks so I asked him to change the email addresses. WWD system denied the transfer requests and now I am stuck renewing at this WWD reseller because unlike eNom you can't push between reseller accounts. GD's push means add another 60 days before it can be transferred out.

Registerfly has frequent sales on transfers for $5.50 and they have (by far) the easiest push system I've encountered.

never had a problem with godaddy, you just gotta make sure they unlock it and if possible have them put your address as the email contact, then transfer it and you should have no problems

HORRIBLE! They require you to fill in alot of information just to push the domain. It took me 10 minutes mainly because of the link activations and USER ID# which I had trouble finding.

Almost forgot. Then the person on the other end has to put in the codes and go through the check-out procedure clicking "no thanks" -- Did I mention I really don't like GoDaddy?

I have had several people that never completed the info on the other end, leaving the domains in my account and in my name... which is why I am moving the bulk of my accounts to Registerfly. Pushes are as easy as entering the recipient's user name and clicking a confirmation button. Fini...
