Excuse my ignorance, but I never had any experience with GoDaddy's push before.

Some guy said that he's gonna push a domain to my GoDaddy account, but till now I still haven't found out how to check whether the push has been made, do I need to and where to accept the push, etc.

Can anyone explain how it works at GoDaddy?

A push at Godaddy is a bit different. You cannot just push to your account. He (owner) has to fill out your info..name,add,city,tel# and email add.

You will get a email from Godaddy (support) about a transfer. You then go to your act @ GD and do accept. It will then ask you for the codes in the email.

1-2 minutes after you dothis, you will now have it in your account.

Glad you asked, edwinfelix, your post reminded me I got a domain for christmas from an NP'er -to be pushed to my GD account, I supplied all the contact info. but I did not get an email from GD, as RickyG, states I should have and the domain is not listed in my account. Perhaps I missed something??

eyedomainous...it is possible they typod your email add wrong? Let the seller know and they can re-initate the transfer.

i hate godaddy's way of transferring. they are a good registrar, but too much haslse to transfer.
yet, this may mean more security, thats why i still use them.

I really prefer the way Namecheap does it. It just goes right to the account, and that way I don't have to end up explaining how to get the email and domain to everyone that I push domains to...
