I have purchased a domain on TDNAM, and paid with BIN.

It is a BIN domain from private seller, not expired domains.

Then there shows an option "Email Seller" in my TDNAM account, I sent my Godaddy account info and ask him when could I receive my domain, but there is no reply. Now 2 days past, I still have not yet receive any reponse. Also, I cant find any info in the whois record, it has got whois privacy.

The domain is regged at Godaddy, I emailed TDNAM then, and their answer is "You should contact the seller", well, fair enough, but the fact is there is no way to contact the seller except send message on TDNAM.

Anyone is experienced with such situation? what should I do next? TDNAM says the purchase is a contract, but it seems the seller still controls everything.

Thank you

Thank you Makis, does help.

If the seller just keep ignoring my emails, will TDNAM do something positive? or just let me down? :|

you can email tdnam for support, they usually have prompt response. But
you should try to contact the buyer yourself, check email or phone from whois also.

Unfortunately its the same issue with Sedo or Afternic. You cant force a seller to respond, even when people want to buy the domain. The honest truth is that hiding whois information is not a bennefit to someone who sells domains. It prevents a potentially interested buying in being able to contact you. Its silly, but if Im on top of my portfolio, unlike many others.

I had a similar situation and here's how it was resolved. I purchased a domain via buy it now. Seller did not respond. I contacted TDNAM via phone for a refund. They contacted the seller, received no reply, and refunded my money.

Nothing you can do.
I think thet seller isn't happy with your price and possibly won't sell you the domain. This is the reason I never bid on private domains accept for expired.

Give it a few goes and if you can't get the name within 3 weeks after paying, ask TDNAM for your money back.

Thank you, john, but the domain is a BIN domain (seller set the BIN price), not auction.

and Thank you guys, it seem there is no way to cotact the seller, but I will wait for weeks, do wanna the name.

Thank you again for the kind help! :)

This has happened to me before on two occassions. This is one of the main reasons why buying on TDNAM is utterly painful. All their customer support will do is try to help you contact the seller. Regardless of if the domain is at GD, WWD, or BR, customer support will not transfer the domain to you without the seller's approval.

Yes, TDNAM stuff can do nothing. The deal all depends on how serious the seller is and will the owner renew the domain finally.

That is a painful process...

But at least I purchased some $5+renew domains, and sold for mid $xxx, therefore, I can't leave TDNAM :)

Make sure you do contact TDNAM. If you do not contact TDNAM within 30 days of your "Buy it Now" transaction to file a complaint, the seller will receive the money.
