Project Ideas for my College Assignment - Free Script request!

Hello, I'm in my final year at college and need to complete a project using PHP, I'm a PHP programmer already but I'm stuck for ideas on what to do.

I need something that won't take forever to code but something that people will want or use. I plan to upload and allow people to download the script free of charge.

The script needs to have a reason behind creating it, else I will struggle when it comes to documenting it.

My ideas so far:

-Driving School Booking System
-Hotel Booking System

You can code out online school management system. It is not that tough but lengthy if you take into consideration all apsects of management.

I coded one in 2004 I think.... You can see its feature list here : Traffic Exchange, Domain Scripts, School Script - BlueSoftWeb.com

Maybe just take some points from it and leave other non related one out.

Hmm then you can search sourceforge.net It might have something very suitable for you.
