HELLO!!!!!

Eveyone!! I have a quick question here, I was wondering how the field of Web Design/Entry Level programming is going? I'm located here in the Michigan,USA and well I haven't seen to much available other than jobs for Developer/Maintenance. I'm hoping to pursue the area of X/HTML frontend programmer/coder and then work my way up from there to hopefully in the future assisting in creating Interactive Software/online courses for education. My skill level at the moment is Advanced XHTML, CSS1 and intermediate JavaScript(ECMAScript), DHTML still working with but not really comfortable with because of Accessibility issues. Also what is the salary range for a frontend coder/programmer???

Most web designers are freelance, but if you search at freelance job forums you can probably join a design team and you may want to pursue PHP as it is useful for webdesign and interactive software as you plan to do.

may? Hmm, in my experience, if you are a programmer, your MUST know some php/sql to survive. CSS, XML, PHP/SQL, you should focus on those( i am assuming you know HTML.) Good luck :tu:

XML and Java is a new reveloution to the web and computer so knowing how these both interact is something I am looking into for future development and I recommend you do the same as then the code and data are portable to a lot of platforms.

What is a good freelance job forum to browse? I'm curious to know what people are doing, and what others are looking for. Thanks!
