PHP Game: online soccer manager

I need a programmer that can develop an online soccer manager game. Just like championship manager or http://www.soccermanager.com/.

The coder would be chosen based on those points:

- features presented and ideas for the game
- best price/deadline
- good portfolio

Of course, AJAX and XHTML 1.1/CSS2.0 abilities are a must. I don't work in a pre-paid basis.

No, i also need the coder to develop the database with the player stats. You can use the FIFA '07 or Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 data. They are console games and have a great database. I wish the players had pictures and such details.

The max bid on this project is $10,000. The payment method would be paypal. Or another thing you want. I would like to pay in this way:

1. Received the project: 35%
2. The project is ok and everything is fine: 35%
3. Everything is runin' well: 30%

Ive been looking into creating my own online football manager style game so I'm very interested in this.

Now it is a huge job and will require a lot of work on my behalf if I win the bid. So for me to go build it and then send it to you for me to get my first payment is a little bit silly.

It will take about 2-3 months to build. So I can bid for $8000. However i will need to ask for a change in the project planning and payment.

1. I will need descriptive brief and planning. Any graphics or designs that have been made.
2. We agree on changes in the project brief if any needed. Then an official quote will be made.
3. Agree the deal. Small deposit will be required here. Work comenses
4. A small demo will be offered demonstrating parts of the project. Both partys discuss the demo to make sure it's heading in the right direction.
5. Another payment will be needed taking it to 50%
6. New demo will be will be produced. Alterations made to this demo after discussions.
7. Final will be issued.
8. Last 50% will be paid. Free support will be offered for up to one month.
