Problem with ftp

this may be in the wronge place but i am having a problem getting an ftp connection to my site i am on an older computer right now so i use FreshFTP and normally it works great but i cant get it to work this is what is says

~ Connecting to ftp.graphixmix.com
! Unable to connect to ftp.graphixmix.com
! All login attempts failed.
~ Disconnected.

it does this every time

try just graphixmix.com (no ftp.)

Not much else i can recommend with that much info

I was getting this as well
(for me anyway, it fixed it)

1 of 2 things to check...

Length of time from setting nameservers.
(may not have resolved yet)

or

I got this for awhile till I figured out -
it was my password and username that didn't
match what I had put into the WHM or cPanel when I created the hosting
for it.
