I get this when searching:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /home/namepros/htdocs/search.php on line 980

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes) in /home/namepros/htdocs/includes/functions.php on line 526

Seems you have some problems with your Server RJ :(

Seems fine to me manofgames, is this repeating itself or was it a one off?

While we are on the topic of the server though, it has been a bit up and down for me. Sometimes it has been great loading, other times it has taken a few minutes to load a page. I have also gotten the "server too busy" error a few times, more noticeably this morning.

But the search works fine for me,

Matt

nope, still not working, but this stime the error changed:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /home/namepros/htdocs/search.php on line 980

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 16 bytes) in /home/namepros/htdocs/includes/functions.php on line 528

Ill try it in a different browser, in case has something to do with FF

EDIT: hmm thats wierd, works in IE, but not FF.
Something really odd going on..... :'(

Your browser can't affect the server..

Search works fine for me. :/

Its nothing to do with your browser, seems you hit the search at a very busy time and the majority of the ram was in use causing this error.

What did you search for, was it a long string?

I remember a similar thread, the error seems to occur when there are too many search results, try with a more specific search (more keywords)

Yep, that's the reason. It's particular search phrases that have far too many results. This use to happen with words like 'domain' or 'namepros'.

thanks, didnt realise that.
i think i was using
php htaccess html menu link
which looking back would have brought back thousands of results
