Private Messages to Staff

I dunno how many times I've sent private messages to staff that have gone unanswered. May I suggest you man someone whom is going to answer them?

The Namepros moderators (and admin) are as you can understand
very busy with the amount of questions they must get on that forum.

I would suggest you to place a general question here on the public forums.
I am sure someone will try to help you.

John, we are VERY active and responsive in the Private Message to Staff forum. Could you point me to a post that has gone unnoticed? I will see that it is answered. I could not find any that have not been answered or not acted upon right away. Thanks.

My mistake... I thought you were refrerring to Private Messaging (PM'ing) the staff.

Actually - I believe the reported post section Gets more attention (Quicker Attention) As there are Forum Leaders and Staff in there - providing it is a "Post / Thread" type situation ....

If it is to do with "ads" - you should probably put "ATTN: -RJ- Advertising"

As the title or something ...


As far as Reported threads go ... If something was already taken care of By the time we get to it - We generally dont answer it again (The same Things are reported several times in some cases).

The staff and FL's are pretty darn good at answering the private threads. If the question needs me (as many of them do now) then I apologize because I've been falling behind in there on a regular basis. Seems I need to develop a new method to mark which threads still need my attention and which are resolved. Feel free to bump your thread if you don't get an answer in a timely manner.

Whenever i have tried to contact staff, they have been very fast and effective at replying.
also, try live chat, this is normally atleast one admin/mod in there :D

Most of the questions I asked have to be answered by RJ as the staff can not answer them. In previous discussions with RJ I think this is because RJ still has control of everything and is hesitant to give it up (which is hard but a crucial step in business). Perhaps if he was to provide some of the admins with more power things might be done quicker.

I see that Mark addressed your last (the one before the thread referenced above) PTS™ query on Jan. 31, within two hours of your post, IMHO. We will just have to work harder to improve upon this response time!

The referenced thread is regarding Namepros Advertising™ ... which is, and should be, directly with site owner RJ in my view. This is not about power, control (both words you've used above), or authority, etc. as I and any of Staff™ have the ability to address any question or Admin. functions on the site. On a personal note, and I've been in this capacity and working extremely closely with RJ for now close to three years ... it is my opinion that RJ is very likely the least controlling - and perhaps most trusting, balanced, willingness to share permissions, responsibilities & ideas - Administrator that exists for a site/business of this SIZE, activity, growth, scope IMHO.
