It is worth what someone is willing to pay you for it.

Try NameBio for comps

privacy/lawyer/com 2,499 USD 2012-01-17 NameJet

i only paid £6 hand reg for its first 2 years and not long renewed it for another 2 years for £16 as .co.uk prices went up so it stands me £21 so not that fussed and will probably renew it again in due course

i reckon there is profit in it all day long when i decide to sell it

privacy lawyer .com not bad
that will be snapped up within the year or so i reckon

decent domain

It would be interesting to better understand that of the legal firms who represent privacy law issues, what percentage of their revenues can be attributed to that specific practice, how many people are in that department, what sort of growth in this particular field have they accomplished or project to accomplish over the long term....market share etc... Knowledge like that would help one ascertain a perceived value proposition to any targeted law firms, assuming you wish to maximize your ROI. And find lawyers who have had measurable success when implementing quality domain names. Present well, and the partners may be persuaded.

The .com version sold in 2012 for $2499 and it's listed now at Sedo for $6750. That tells me that it was more than likely originally purchased by a domain investor and its since been sitting in the domainer channel seeking a buyer. The number of law firms out there doing business is staggering....if it's a premium domain for that sector, I have to ask then why hasn't this domain be snapped up and eagerly implemented by this industry? It's a cash-rich industry always seeking new clients, so I have to wonder....

If the law firms decide not to buy it, you could always develop a site that specializes in searchable queries of legal representatives in the GEO area, of whom cater to the legal particulars of the seekers' needs. A sort of lead generator for the many people practicing privacy law. Add a ton of other legal domains and generalize the primary domain to cover all areas of law...or sell cheap to a professional taking the risk of branching out

But what do I know, I'm just a smoking chimp.

Good luck.

Great reply i really appreciate your well thought out analysis

as i like buying legal sector domains i have one or two etc

i have seen a good use of a similar legal sector .co.uk domain which lists legal firms specializing in that sector which is an avenue i could go down

eg listing a selection of quality privacy lawyers and effectively having my cake and eat it in as much as i would still own the domain but it would earn its keep too

Typing privacy lawyer in to different social media platforms there are quite a few privacy lawyers it would seem

i also have privacybarrister

and used to have
dataprotectionbarrister.com

and used to have baristerqc .co.uk

My Privacylawyer.co.uk tho would be ideal to add privacy lawyer content with Google adsense but ideally i would just like a search box in the centre of homepage but don't know which parking company offers this landing page
