It seems (and this is just my opinion) that you are trying too hard to find a domain name. Would I be wrong in thinking that you chose this one as it doesn't "stink too much"? Perhaps this one was better as the others you have seen or thought of (etc), ie this is the best of a bad bunch? Unfortunately, the best of a bad bunch is not necessarily good.


The .net TLD and hyphen kills a lot of value in any non-premium or non highly sought after keywords. The second word (chopper) is a bit awkward. For these reasons and the fact the domain doesn't have a popular meaning (Price Chopper) I think the domain name worth very little.

In general I don't think you will sell it. However as always in domaining, someone out there might like it and give you even low 3 figures for it if they have a project. However, sincerely, I would be surprised if you sold it or in the rare chance of selling it got more than $xx.

Hi

price chopper gets an average 201,000 google searches a month! .net spoils yours, but it isn't too bad. However pricechopper(.)com is selling food. They are probably getting most of the hits. I doubt they will take your domain off you. However as you have major competition you are unlikely to get much traffic to your domain unless you make it into something exceptional.

Don't chop it yet.
