Okay, I know I have to respect and accept every appraisal here, but I sold enough Chat / Talk / Forum domains to know that these are worth much more than you posted.

Can anybody that has experience with Chat domains contribute their appraisal? Thanks.

I beg to differ. You registered the domains TODAY. Hacking and Dancing have been around for sometime, if someone wanted these domains they would have been gone years ago.

If you can sell these soon for over my appraisal, I guess I am wrong.

It's funny how a 3x - 4x turnaround in less than 24 hours is so bad to some domainers, haha.

MCDomains, don't get angry because I have hand registered better domains than your entire collection.

It doesn't matter when I have registered. By saying that, it proves you don't have much knowledge in this field. And maybe I should show you past sales of mine of domains that were hand registered:

SkaterTalk.com - $500
HtmlTalk.com - $500
CodingBlog.com - $250
SwishForums.com - $110
RabbitForums.com - $100
JavascriptTalk.com - $100

A recent registration doesn't have anything to do with its value. I do not appreciate your narrow minded appraisal whatsoever.

If you think I cannot manage atleast a low $xxx sale on these domains, then you must be kidding yourself.

It's probably best that you quit domaining or at least quit looking for appraisals. I've sold domains for over $500, you're not impressing anyone. Haha. Personal attacks on others collections aren't going to get you any points either. If you can't handle an appraisal, don't ask. You're not going to convince me that the day old regs above are worth any more than my appraisals until you sell them.

Why ask for appraisals? Apparently YOU know what they're worth already! You say you can get low $xxx, so go get it and stop wasting our time begging for us to stroke your ego.

MC: No offense but no one has to prove anything to anyone in terms of selling.

Appraisals on this forum should be taken with a grain of salt. Why?

1. Sometimes people who are jealous that you have a good name & they don't will purposely offer a lowball appraisal.

2. The forum has its fair share of young kids, what do they honestly know to even give a legitimate appraisal.

3. Reseller factor, most appraise on that instead of end users or just think cheap to begin with & their appraisal shows that.

None of these apply to me. I've sold over 500 domains in the last year and have a good pulse on reselling price. I stand by my appraisal.

EDIT:

To backup my appraisal even more, I find FinancingTalk.com trying to be sold by said thread starter and it not be sold on repeated price drops and not be sold at the low price of $25 ...
the 2 words 'dancing chat' and the 2 words 'financing talk' have very similar google results ... the unquoted financing talk beating dancing chat by a large #.

I feel like I have to backup my appraisal with all the hostility. I hope this helps explain.

I understand your point but I still stand by mine. He has nothing to prove to you as you have nothing to prove to him. The appraisal forum has good intentions but I think it has drawbacks as egos, personal feelings, etc.. can cloud things in the end.

I do see your point on FT but at the same time I look at the other side of the coin. I stand behind the fact that selling names to other forum users won't get you far as most will just lowball you or think you are stupid.

I have seen some of the offers & I can already tell a decent % want premium names at reseller prices. In terms of FT, what if he didn't really try & market it or just come across an end user who would consider it worth more. So many factors as I'm sure y ou know could play into what happened with it.

Congrats on your sales in the past year though! I hope it has been a profitable one for you :)

Why did you bother asking for an appraisal if you already knew the value? You're coming off very rude.

Thread closed.
