What I have learned about article writing and how it effects a website.

When you write an article, there are a few pointers you must pay attention to. One, the article must be unique, it can not be a copy. Google loves unique content, but bans websites with duplicate content. This is becuase it is Google's job to filter search results and to make sure that it only show quality sites. If they did not do this, then you would find that the results you get are all the same article, and this would make a lot of people walk away from using Google. This is the same for any search engine.

Also, this article is responsible for bringing in more people to someone's website. It provides unique content and information, that visitors will find helpful, and search engines will find useful. The article must have a certain keyword density for the website. It cannot be only one keyword though, or a search engine may reject it. It must have a few keywords, that are spaced out correctly. If this is done correctly, then a search engine will find the article and using keyword density, will determine where in its results will this website be found.

If a website has enough articles, with enough words, and has a decent keyword density for a number of keywords that fits the website. Then it is quite possible the site can reach the number one spot on google. Of course, as long as your competition is not doing better then you. As long as you use proper coding, with proper seo based coding, including proper content; then a website is more then capable of being in the top of search results.

Now if you can get to this point, and you have relevant ads, that match you niche criteria, you could be making a decent income per month on that website. This is generally what most successful website owners do. Not including, those who use black hat tricks, to get better seo, which eventually will lose it all when they are discovered and banned. One of these tricks that you must look out for is a website that mispells every 3rd word in an article. This trick is used to fool programs like copyscape, which uses 3 worded phrases to detect copies. But, what some do not know, or relize, is that google does not do the same thing copyscape does, if they did, then they would not have much indexed. Also, it would be impossible for them to detect such tricks. Instead, Google has a very secrective algorithm, which is most likely based on several tests that they run on each piece of content they index.

Now if I was google, I would have one of those test be, a script that looks for patterns like mispelling every 3rd word, and if my script found that pattern on a website, it would be banned instantly, and from past evidence, and common sense, I believe this is one of the test they run.

For an article to benefit a website and its owner, it must be unique, with juicy keyword density, but without stupid black hat tricks, that only hurt and do not help anyone. If you can make a proper website with proper search engine optimization and include good juicy content, then it is possible for the website owner to earn an income from this endeavor.
