yes, my windows system crashed again other day, and just said 'enough'
needed a new pc and whenever i visit a pc store, like most others i guess, i look at apples machines and they're light years ahead of the rest of the junk
im actually on my lappy now, windows lol, still loving firefox but the mac is being a pig
i realised it would be a leap of faith and would need to relearn everything. like opening a browser LOL
but setting up is a picec of cake. the problem comes with getting online. you cant just use the standard modems etc you do with windows etc and pcs. that takes 1 minute and has a wizard to help . oh no

doesnt help pcworld staff are as thick as muck. after getting the wrong modem even though it says macs too on box, as apparently an imac is different
natch the pred got an imac :kickass:
then got a wireless router and after having the run around with call centres etc, and the people who made, looked like there was a fault on it so had to take back. so giving a couple of days before put fist thru screen lol
even then you gotta do manually. any tips welcome.
one word of advice i'll give. go for a mac as i will use that for design and dev, and firefox / windows for general stuff, but dont leave it as ur only route online or you will have probs for few days. its as much macs fault as the manufacturers i guess who just dont make this crap as easy as standard pcs .
once ur online it dont matter. its getting that side done
