PR6 domain but not in Archive.org

Hi,

I found a domain I can get for reg fee. Shows genuine PR6 on seologs but it has no history in archive.org but when I type in both words not togther but serparte in google I get 5 million results.

Is this worth it?

For $7, it can't hurt. Make sure you use " " when doing G search results, and check OVT -- don't rely on PR for much, check linkpop.

If its a 6

If - and this is a big IF - that domain is a genuine PR6 you could sell that domain in a few minutes for at least $100 if not more. Make sure you reg it somewhere they have a free push feature (namecheap-godaddy)

Before you do that make sure the domain has backlinks. Check the backlinks PR.

If you don't want to do the following I'll do it for you :]

Check the backlinks on Yahoo
Check that your domain is still showing up in the backlinks (open the links)
Check the backlinks PR

For a PR6 you'd need plenty of PR4s or PR5s or a few PR6 or PR7 links.

It means when you search word + word in google, e.g. Big Brother, you should search with quotation mark. like this: "big brother"

Search Result:

Big Brother: 74,800,000 for big brother
"Big Brother":27,600,000 for "big brother" (And this is exactly what you want)

For the reg fee, go for it.
PR is easily obtained, though, so check backlinks & try to figure out HOW the PR came. It could be PR6 today and PR0 in half a year.
